Day 9, On the Psychology of Conformity
Human beings are social animals; we move, feel, think, and believe in groups. These groups behave in accordance with consistent dynamical rules that can be observed in experiments such as the ones described in this video. It is vitally important for anyone who considers themselves intelligent to examine and evaluate the influences on their thoughts. These influences are considerable, powerful, and frequently subtle. They are not always bad, but they are always there.
